Why I Started Vivahealthy
❤️ A Personal Story That Changed Everything
Growing up, I watched my dad silently suffer with high blood pressure. No one talked about lifestyle change. No one told him there was another way.
My dad loved food—especially salt, oil, and sugar. But at age 74, he had a stroke. He spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair until he passed. It was heartbreaking—and preventable.
Fast Forward to My 40s
When I was diagnosed with hypertension, I remembered my dad—and I knew I needed to make a change.
Lisinopril made me cough constantly, and I knew I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life on meds. At the time, I was already working in the healthcare system, with multiple certifications—yet no one had taught me how to actually reverse high blood pressure with lifestyle.
🔍 I Became My Own Health Advocate
I dove deep into the research. I began experimenting with nutrition and lifestyle changes. And something incredible happened…
My blood pressure dropped from 165/92 to 114/70—and it’s stayed below 120/80 ever since.
🌱 The Birth of Vivahealthy
Friends, coworkers, and even strangers began asking me what I was doing. I shared everything I knew—first in conversations, then in presentations. Before I knew it, I was coaching people through real, life-changing results, even before I enrolled in the Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching Program at IIN.
That’s when I knew this was bigger than me.
That’s when Vivahealthy was born.
